What does F26 mean?

Drive motor is not operating or not reaching proper speed.

Common causes

• Failed drive motor
• Worn motor bearings
• Broken belt
• Seized idler pulley
• Motor overload

Diagnostic & testing steps

1. 1. Check belt is intact and on pulleys
2. 2. Spin drum by hand to check for binding
3. 3. Test motor windings - should read 1-3 ohms
4. 4. Check motor start capacitor if applicable
5. 5. Replace motor if windings are open
